Drinking water

In rural India, water sources are often miles away from the village, limited in supply and unclean. Yet the physical and economic survival of rural Indian villages is dependant on the availability of this most basic of resources. A village blessed with easily accessible clean water leads not only to plentiful crops and healthy livestock, but also to people who are set free from sickness and disease.

CSSI helps to provide access to clean drinking water in India’s rural communities through tube well or deep-water well projects. So far over, 45 wells have been dug. These wells provide the basic foundation for a healthy productive community.
